About me:
I am very pleased to have recently been co-opted into the Wootton Parish Council and look forward to being a part of a really great team and even greater community. I have lived near Wootton, and have had a lot to do in and around Wootton for over 15 years, so I am no stranger!
Healthcare and wellbeing in communities is really important to me, where residents can enjoy a safer, healthier, happier and more supportive environment for not only the young children but for vulnerable adults, the elderly and frail, those with mental health difficulties, those who may feel isolated and insecure, or those who may feel that they have been excluded from society and are struggling to find their ‘vibe tribe’ (friends that they can get on well with).
I am a Specialist Lymphoedema & Lipoedema therapist by trade or profession – and found myself being drawn to Public Service because I was getting very despondent about the way some communities seem to be ‘giving up’ on themselves in the face of hardship and suffering, with the last five years being particularly difficult for most. I am quite driven and passionate about maintaining and developing a vibrant and healthy community partnership.
I look forward to getting to know so many of you and doing my best to serve Wootton Parish Council and its Parishioners to the best of my capability.
