About Me:
I was born and raised in Wootton, just like many members of my family. Although I moved away for a time after getting married, I returned four years ago – and it truly felt like coming home.
I’m delighted to now be serving as a parish councillor and hope to bring a valuable mix of experience and commitment to the role. Professionally, I worked in Credit Risk Governance and Control within the banking industry and alongside my career, I’ve always been active in the community – from spending 20 years as a Beaver Scout Leader, to helping with school fundraising, and contributing to the transformation of the pocket park in front of Abington Lodge into a wonderful wildlife haven.
In my free time, I love taking part in local events like Knit and Natter, Crafternoon, and Book Club at the community centre. These gatherings are perfect examples of what makes our parish so special – a welcoming, connected community with a strong sense of togetherness.
What I love most about Wootton is exactly that: the community spirit. Local events bring people together, create lasting memories, and give us all a sense of belonging.
I’m really looking forward to working with and for our parish to help ensure it remains a place we’re all proud of – and want to continue calling home. I look forward to meeting more of you along the way
