M1 Junction 15 to 15a Northbound Smart Motorway - Upcoming Weekend Closure - 10th to 13th June 2022
Wootton Parish Council have today been advised of an upcoming weekend closure that will take place on the M1. The M1 northbound between junctions 15 to 15a will be closed for 56 hours from 9pm on Friday 10th June to 6am on Monday 13th June 2022. Lanes two and three are to be resurfaced with low noise surfacing next to Collingtree Village.

Langford Drive Road Closure - 12th to 17th May 2022
Wootton Parish Council have received notification of the full road closure of Langford Drive, Wootton NN4 6JY between the 12th May 2022 through to the expected completion date of the 17th May 2022. Northamptonshire Highways are scheduled to carry out resurfacing works which will improve the structural stability of the road and improve safety for road users.

Hardingstone Village Carriageway Resurfacing
We have received notification from Hardingstone Parish Council of phased road closures between 16th November 2020 and 18th December 2020. The traffic management and road closure arrangements will be in three phases as outlined on the attached factsheets.

Northampton being added to the government's watchlist as an "Area of Intervention
Northampton borough has seen a marked increase in Covid-19 cases and from today will be added to the government's watch list as "an area of intervention",
