About Me:

I'm Helen and have lived on Wootton Fields with my family for over 20 years. I have 2 grown up step-children and a son who is at secondary school.

I joined the Parish Council in May 2021. I'm particularly passionate about nature and our open spaces for wildlife and our own wellbeing. Since joining the council I've set up the Open Spaces group and the 'Wild About Wootton' Facebook group and in November 2022 we planted an avenue of 28 disease resistant Elms on the open parkland between our Community Centre and CCS, along with 50 wonderful volunteers.

The climate and nature emergency is something that concerns me greatly and I'd welcome the opportunity to connect with residents about creating a climate action plan and ensuring that our community is resilient for future generations.
